Sometimes, we get into situations that we feel like we have zero control over. We get to points where we react to events without thinking. During these moments, practicing mindfulness may be beneficial to an individual. Mindfulness helps you be more aware of your emotions before you react, therefore, enabling you to grasp control over them. Also, mindfulness helps you look at thoughts in an objective manner, which is more rational. With this practice, you are able to prevent events that lead to negative thinking.
This course is meant to guide the participants on how to apply mindfulness to deal with stress and difficult emotions.
